Meet the Team

Our staff has come to us from as far away as Anchorage and Savannah, and as close as the South Hill in Spokane. Their combined strengths in management, design, writing, fundraising, education and accounting have positioned Mobius for success. Chris Majer - CEO

  • A founder of Mobius Spokane
  • Experienced private sector executive with extensive start up experience
  • Author, speaker and innovator in the field of human performance and organizational design

Marty Gonzales - Director of Operations
  • First hired staff member in history of Mobius Spokane
  • Former Mobius Kids Director of Operations, Volunteer Director and Membership Director
  • Former Mobius Kids Executive Director
  • BS in Organizational Communication, BS in Business Administration, Eastern Washington University
Eric Miller - Director of Exhibitions
  • Seasoned exhibitions planner, exhibit builder, and artist
  • Oversaw the design and installation of the Imaginarium science wing of the Anchorage Museum of Art
  • BA in Fine & Applied Arts, University of Oregon
Wendy K. Schneider - Director of Development
  • Owned and operated a business for twelve years that contracted with community, educational, and cultural organizations to create and manage diverse education programs.
  • Worked with the Plateau Tribes’ arts, cultural, and educational organizations; school districts; and underserved populations throughout the U.S.
  • experienced in managing all aspects of development including, membership, annual fund, foundations, corporations, grants, capital campaign/major giving, and planned giving processes.
  • Undergraduate degree was completed at Brigham Young University in Secondary Education with a degree in P.E. and an emphasis on dance. She received her Elementary teaching certificate from the University of Utah. Wendy’s graduate work was done at the University of San Francisco; and, in 2006, she received her M. Ed. from Whitworth University in Administrative Leadership. Wendy is a Certified Fundraising Executive, (CFRE).

Karen Hudson - Mobius Kids Manager

  • Assistant Marketing Director of River Park Square from 2004 to 2007
  • Former Mobius Kids Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator 2007-2011
  • Community volunteer for various local non-profits
Kathy Curtiss M.Ed. - Director of Education
  • Owned and operated an educational consulting firm for 37 years, influencing schools across the country to focus on true learning, collaboration, continuous improvement and generating as well as sustaining relationships with parents, students and colleagues based in trust and respect.
  • Provided leadership and professional development focused on school culture, instruction and authentic assessment practices to engage students in discovery, reflection and growth.
  • Facilitated district wide action research project in Northeast Vermont over a two year period, providing structure and coaching for overall development, implementation, research practices and reporting methods. Over 300 educators participated in this innovative learning process culminating in a District wide Symposium of Learning.
  • Developed the concept, design, structures, innovative curriculum, assessment rubrics and created a learning community for underserved students that was 'outside the box' of traditional education.
  • Experienced in managing all aspects of a learning community, knowledgable of STEM standards and eager to reach out and influence educators to remember how exciting true learning is!

James Elvidge - CIO
  • Former/Current CIO for cutting-edge leadership and management training company, The Human Potential Project
  • Freelance creative media writer and graphic designer
  • International recording artist with a tech degree in music from The Grove School of Music
